The Bielsa Revolution begins today!

For some unknown reason, I have decided to start a blog mainly about Leeds United.

Here are a few thoughts as we start the new season today:

Stoke City aided by their parachute payment travel to Elland Road for Marcelo Bielsa’s introduction to English football. Pontus Jannson and Jamal Blackman won’t start the game so it will make the game even tougher. Expectations are huge for both sides and honestly is take a draw after seeing the results from the rest of the league yesterday.

I think Leeds fans are expecting the side to click right away and I don’t think that’s going to be the case. I implore the Twitter folk to relax and don’t overreact if the side starts too slow. It took nearly a season for Guardiola to put his stamp on the City team. Hopefully, the crowd will roar the side on if there are a few misplaced passes.

I’m still unsure about how to process Radz interviews from yesterday. I understand the need to balance the books as you don’t want to end up like Wendies but it strikes me as another error in judgment. I don’t agree with selling Vieira for such a low price and building up as a future star makes it look like a terrible decision. Hopefully, we will get a few signings in the next few days to bolster the strength of the overall squad.

Finally, I fancy a 1-1 draw today. I hope I’m wrong as usual and Leeds grab a win but Stoke are a good side at this level and will test our back four. Without Pontus and Forshaw I think we will concede a goal. However, we should be quite attacking and will threaten quite a lot over the courscif the game.
